Why Us
Our leaders
We all have a passion for travel and a love of people. Above all, we are really friendly and approachable and you can never ask too many questions - that’s what we are here for. Our leaders are informative and knowledgeable, with a commitment to ensuring your enjoyment, safety and of course value for money.
At Bigtrip, we are veterans of more tours than we care to remember. From bush camping overland tours to five star luxury, we have pretty much done it all. We know what makes a good tour and we also know the extra added value that makes a really great and memorable tour. That is what we strive for on every single Bigtrip.
Local guides
We are committed to finding and using the best local guides. By using fun, energetic people with a real passion for their home, you really get to know and understand a place. What better way to learn the history of a location than from someone who has lived through it, and who of course can also show you the best local bars and restaurants.
Local knowledge
It’s important to scratch below the surface and really understand what’s going on in a place. Because of our great local contacts in every destination we visit, at Bigtrip we not only know the best bars clubs and restaurants, we also know the best sights to see and the coolest stuff that everybody else misses. We have a great knowledge of the past and keep up to date with news and current affairs so we are aware of what is going on today.
